One of the must-sees of Ibiza Town is its old town, known as Dalt Vila, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. The neighbourhood is lies within a sixteenth-century wall that protected the town from pirates and the Ottomans. It's well worth exploring its quaint cobbled streets lined with whitewashed houses, and admiring the most famous landmarks, such as the Cathedral of Santa María de las Nieves, the Archaeological Museum, the Plaza de la Vila, the ramparts of the wall, the viewpoint, and the Church of Santo Domingo, among many others. And from the highest part you'll be rewarded with some truly exceptional views.
